Day 4: Google Apps and Chinese Inventions (2/10/11)


Aim: The historians of 2016 will be able to install all required Chrome apps and use the flashcard app to create 10 flashcards for medieval China.

Step 1: Quick Question: In 500 years, which invention do you think we will be known for? Why? Please write your answer in the comments using compete sentences.

  • Computer
  • Television
  • iPhone
  • Car
  • Airplane

Step 2: Track Mr. Sanders as he explains the different Chrome Apps we will be using.

Step 3: Install the following Google Chrome Apps:

  • 3DTin
  • Cramberry
  • Springpad
  • Connected Mind
  • Aviary Image Editor
  • Diigo

Step 4: Read about the different Chinese inventions and discoveries here and complete the graphic organizer. Make sure you pictures are in color!

Step 5: Work on updating your notebook. Use the link to the table of contents to see what you need in your notebook.

Step 6: If you have any extra time you can explore the different Chrome Apps we are going to be using this quarter.

Homework: Read about Urbanization in China and complete the workbook page on the back.

    I think that in 500 years we will be known for the IPhone because no one has ever created anything like it.There has been a old version of all the other things on that list.

    also television because we created reality tv shows some examples are flavor of love i love new york but also we will also be rembered for shows like saturday night live and mad tv (both version) also we will be remebered for chanels like G4 spike sitv vh1 and mtv we

    I think we will be most remembered for the computer because you can do anything on it. You can communicate with people, read, play games, and do anything the other options can do besides give transportation like airplanes and cars can. The computer is most memorable to me and out of all of those things it's the best.

    i think we would be known for the invention of the computer because if you think about it all of the invention have computer features as there main attraction,like the i phone you can go on the internet and browse the same with the airplane you use the technology of the computer the cars are starting to have features where you can go on the internet and update your facebook status and little things like that,and lastly the tv its not so much that you can use the computer on it but its the fact that you can watch tv on your computer
