Day 76: G.R.A.P.E.S of Islam (1/5/12)

Aim: The junior historians of 2017 will be able to describe the geography of Arabia and its impact on the development of civilization.

Tweet Storm #KSFB7: Of all the different physical features in the world, which do you think is the most important to live by? Why? After you tweet, reply to one or more of your teammates.

Example tweet: "Living by glaciers would be the most important because I need access to fresh ice! #KSFB7"

Task 2: You will have 15-20 minutes to finish steps four and five from yesterdays lesson. Make sure your map is posted and all the required parts are included.

If you need help finding historical locations in Arabia, you can click here.

Task 3: We are going to read this together. Obviously, if you want to read it before, you can! (:

Task 4: Make a copy of this GRAPES graphic organizer. While the information is fresh in your head, take notes on the 'G' section of your G.R.A.P.E.S. graphic organizer. You should be synthesizing everything you learned about geography in arabia so far.

Exit Ticket: Create Tumblr post with the title Geography of the Arabian Peninsula. In the post, you must describe, in one complete paragraph, the physical geography of the Arabian Peninsula.

Reminders:
  1. Don't forget that applications for classroom jobs closes tomorrow.
  2. You will need to have headphones by next week.
