Day 85: The Qur'an and the Sunnah Part 2 (1/19/12)

Aim: The historians of 2017 will be able to describe key messages from the Qur'an and make connections to other religions they have previously studied (day 2 of 2).

Task 1: Put your homework on your desk. Make sure you name is on it!!!

Task 2: Write down your grades for each class in your agenda.

Task 3: Tweet out something you've learned so far from our Islam unit. This can be from our lessons on the geography of the Arabian Peninsula, the life of Muhammad, the 5 Pillars of Islam, or the Qur'an. Make sure you're using the hashtag #KSFB7 so we can capture your tweets.

Feel free to watch the tweets roll in here. Don't spend too much time doing it!

Note: Make sure you are following everyone from our class. Anyone choosing not to follow teammates will lose participation points. How can you participate fully if you're not seeing everyone's tweets? :)

Task 4: Open this link and wait for directions! We're going to be doing this activity together. If you're home sick you can attempt it solo.

Task 5: Complete the class analyze key parts of the Qur'an. You will be working in groups. We will start our class tomorrow by analyzing this document. This is tough work, so take it seriously!

Task 6: Spend the remainder of the class reviewing your notes or use this online quiz to prepare for tomorrow's test.

Homework: Study for tomorrow's Islam test. Topics on the test: the Story of Muhammad, the Five Pillars of Islam, the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
