MAP Testing Extension Activity (1/12/12)

Today when you finish your MAP test with Mrs. Rivera, you can work on this extension activity:

Step One: Go to your Google Reader account and read three or more articles that are interesting for you. Only one of the

articles can be from ESPN. Try to find a diversity of news sources.

Here are the suggested Google Reader feeds from our past lesson if you need to add any other feeds:

• National Geographic Kids Blog
• Dog Eared (get book recommendations)
• Hands On Explorer
• Discovery for Kids
• DOGO News
• The Verge (technology news)
• Here There Everywhere
• ESPN Sports
• Student News Daily

Step two: Tweet out a link to one of the stories you find interesting with the #KSFB7 hashtag.

Step three: Complete a current event reflection for one of the articles.

Step four: After you complete steps 1-3, and NOT before, you can brush up on your typing skills here.
