Day 44: Art Review (Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance Art) (5/2/11)

Standard: 7.8.5: Detail advances made in literature, the arts, science, mathematics, cartography, engineering, and the understanding of human anatomy and astronomy.

AIM: The historians of 2016 will be able to describe what makes a renaissance piece or art vs a medieval piece of art.


Task 3: Track Mr. Sanders as he gives you the different definitions of what makes art classic, medieval, or renaissance. Use this document to take notes.

Task 4: Go through the virtual art gallery walk while examining the different pieces of art. Use this document to record for observations of the different works of art. For each piece of art you need to tell me they type of art (medieval or renaissance) and how you know.
