Standard: 7.8.5: Detail advances made in literature, the arts, science, mathematics, cartography, engineering, and the understanding of human anatomy and astronomy.
Aim: The historians of 2016 will describe and critique the role of the Medici family and the Renaissance within Florence Italy.
Task 1: Please answer these questions about your project. Some of you have already completed this task. If you are already done, move on to task 2.
Task 2: Track the video clips that Mr. Sanders will show in class. You may watch the videos on your own at a later time.
Task 3: Follow along as Mr. Sanders helps you understand the Medici family and their role in the Renaissance. We will go through the pages together, having different teammates ready about the Medici family aloud while everyone else follows along on their screen.
Task 4: Spend 25 minutes working on your Renaissance project. Please go back to previous blog posts or ask Mr. Sanders if you need more clarification or help.
Task 5: Exit ticket. Using complete sentences, describe the role that the Medici family played during the Renaissance in Florence.
Homework: Read about advances in Architecture and Engineering in Renaissance Florence and complete the workbook page. You will need to look at this picture to help you answer the questions.
