Day 88: Islamic Contributions (1/25/12)

Aim: The historians of 2017 will be able to create a Tumblr post describing one or more significant Islamic contribution.

Task 3: We are going to introduce our lesson by watching the first few minutes of this great documentary from the BBC. If you have extra time after the lesson you can watch the rest of the video.

Task 4: Open the reading from last night's homework. We are going to read the introduction to the chapter together.

Task 5: Choose one of the following areas of contributions and read about it independently. Next, summarize what you learned in a tumblr post to share your knowledge with your teammates.

• Scholarship and Learning
• Books and Literature

Homework: Create a five question, multiple choice quiz, testing your teammates knowledge of everything we've learned so far in our Islam unit. You can create your quiz on a Google form or a separate piece of paper. You can submit your homework link here when you are done.
