Day 17: Roman Contributions Quiz (9/7/2011)


Key Points:
1. The Roman Empire lasted for hundreds of years.
2. The Roman empire contributed to western culture in many ways.
3. Arches and domes are Roman architectural contributions.
4. The Roman road system influenced modern highway system.

AIM: The junior historians of 2017 will be able to demonstrate mastery on the quiz by answering eight or more of the ten questions correctly.

Task 1: Complete the survey here.

Task 2 Quick Question: Which American inventions do you think people will still think are important 500 years from now? Phone? Computer? Airplane? Airconditioner? Electricity? Television? iPod?

Task 3: Track the video. This video will help us review for our quiz. After the video you will have time to complete your visual notes form last week (the notes where you were finding images of Roman contributions to western culture).

Task 4: Quiz 1. The quiz will only become clickable when it is time to take it. When you complete the quiz, assign yourself independently until everyone is done.

Task 5: We will use this game to help learn more about everyday life in the Roman Empire. If you're able to solve the death mystery, fill out this form and claim your extra credit points.
