Day 37: Day before the Benchmark! (10/12/11)

Aim: The junior historians of 2017 will be able to create and use flash cards to study for tomorrow's benchmark test.

1. Quick Question: What was the most interesting thing that you learned about the Byzantine Empire?

2 Tweet Storm: Tweet out your best question from last night's reading. Make sure you use the hashtag #ksfb7 so your teammates can find and reply to your tweet. If you didn't create a twitter account last night. Join up with a neighbor so you can participate with their twitter account.

3. Track Mr. Sanders as he presents on the Great Schism and the split of the church in Europe. Here is a place that you can go to learn more about it.

4. Create a set of flashcards for tomorrow's benchmark test. You can add to your Roman Empire flash cards, a lot of same ideas will be on the benchmark exam. Study guide page one, page two.

5. If we have time, Mr. Sanders will show you some of the cool projects you can choose from for your final project on the Roman and Byzantine Empire. We will be using Story Bird or one of the comic strip apps!

Homework: Study your flashcards for tomorrow's Benchmark exam!
