Day 66: Causes and Effects of the Magna Carta (12/6/11)


Aim: The junior historians of 2017 will be able to analyze the causes and effects of the Magna Carta, especially the impact of common code of laws and the decline of feudalism.


Task 1: Here are the answers to three questions. Your job is the write what the question is.

Example Answer: a medieval competition in which contestants competed in a series of events such as jousting. The Question: What were medieval fairs?

Task 2: We will review the classwork from yesterday. Have your flow chart open.

Task 3: What were the causes and effects of the Magna Carta? You need to tweet a cause or effect. Make sure you begin your tweet with the word Cause or Effect. After tweeting, complete this form.

Task 4: Make a copy and complete this activity. Directions: Your job is to create a story board, using pictures and text, that describes the significant events in European history from the fall of Rome to the signing of the Magna Carta. You will probably need to use your notes and review past lessons.
