Day 35: The Eastern Orthodox Church (10/11/11)

Aim: The junior historians of 2017 will be able to paraphrase information from a paragraph and create a 1-slide presentation to teach their teammates about Christianity in the Byzantine Empire.

3. Open your text on the Byzantine Empire that we were annotating (marking up) last week. We'll finish going through the text, making sure we didn't miss any important pieces of information.

4. Open this document about the Eastern Orthodox Church in the Byzantine Empire. We'll be using it to deeper our understanding of Christianity within the Byzantine Empire.

5. Open the group presentation for your homeroom and wait for instructions (Stanford, Olivet, Kansas). In order for this activity to work, you're going to need to follow all directions very carefully. Click here to see who's responsible for each paragraph in the presentation.

Important: Google Docs Spring Cleaning: We will spend some time going through our Google docs making sure we are eliminating any duplicates or master copies of documents. This would also be a good time to make sure all your documents are named properly.
Important II:

Homework: Read about the Great Schism and complete the learning reflection.
